Artist Statement Many of our daily experiences are temporal, yet they have become replicated as ritual, as a habit of function amongst humanity. I am interested in presenting certain rituals and repeated contemporary trends that provide discourse on issues in politics, religion, mass media, industry, popular culture, and social media. I view my work as relics of personal expression commenting on the world and its current or reccuring issues, which I experience around me. The way that I view myself, or feel about my place in the collective environment dictates the expressions in my work.
